Which registers does a manufacturing plant actually need to run?
A plant typically runs five separate systems - process safety, machinery and guarding, chemicals, quality, and injury management - none of which know that the same asset, shift and operator appear in all of them. The reality

The maintenance system knows the machine. The quality system knows the defect. The safety system knows the incident. None of them knows that all three describe the same failure.

The capture problem
The operator has ninety seconds, not a form
Plant floors do not fail at reporting because operators do not care. They fail because reporting competes with a running line. A form with fourteen mandatory fields loses that competition every time, and the near miss goes unrecorded.

Does it integrate with our maintenance system?
Asset data comes in and defects can flow out, so the machine's identity is shared rather than re-keyed. We are not trying to replace your CMMS - we are trying to stop the safety and quality registers from disagreeing with it.
We already use SafetyCulture for inspections. Do we replace it?
